Former member of The King’s Academy Lions football team, Heath Evans, has won Super Bowl XLIV as a member of the New Orleans Saints. Evans was a standout player at The King’s Academy and is a versatile, skilled fullback who has ably served as a lead-blocker, rusher, receiver and special teams ace throughout his nine-year NFL career. He has played in 127 career games, rushing for 577 yards and 4 touchdowns, hauling in 50 passes (3 touchdowns) and adding 29 special teams stops. Evans also has a wealth of postseason experience, including playing in Super Bowl XLII with the New England Patriots.
Evans graduated from The King’s Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1997. Heath views his success in the very public arena of professional sports at the highest level as nothing more than a platform to impact lives for Christ. He speaks frequently at schools and churches in South Florida, Alabama, and around the country. His two major initiatives in the community reflect his devotion to spreading the Gospel and serving others. The Heath Evans Foundation is dedicated to fostering hope and healing in the lives of children and families affected by sexual abuse through Christian counseling and intervention.
